Role title: Contract Multi-skilled Engineer
AIM recruitment has a new opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Enginee, with an electrical bias to join a leading UK food manufacturer currently experiencing a large amount of investment for current and future growth.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the purpose of the Multi-Skilled Engineer is to support the existing compliment and facilitate the achievement of factory KPIs through the application of engineering / maintenance principles.
This role works to a Panama, (days / nights ) shift pattern.
Week 1: 2 on – 3 days off – 2 on
Week 2: 3 on – 2 days off – 3 on
As an experienced Engineer, maintenance will be at the forefront of your daily activities.
You will systematically review performance, identifying and implementing opportunities to improve factory lines and equipment reliability. Other day to day duties include:
- Reactive, preventative and planned maintenance
- Perform root cause analysis and fault finding
- Application / adherence of TPM
What will you bring?
You will hold an electrical qualification of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum and be 17th edition certified. You must be an excellent fault finder and have strong mechanical skills with a good working knowledge of food manufacturing machinery and production lines. You will be expected to accurately record all maintenance work using our computerised maintenance system so strong computer skills are a must.
